Council of the Specialised Information Service
The Academic Advisory Board of the FID consists of experts from a wide range of research fields, including representatives from research institutes, associations and libraries with a focus on oriental studies.
Its structure reflects the FID’s range of subjects in a balanced way to ensure a close connection to the academic community.
The Advisory Board meets regularly to evaluate the work of the FID and to give important impulses for the further development of the infrastructural services. In addition, the FID is in close contact with the members of this committee in all central questions concerning acquisitions and services.
